Tucker setup
Tucker is a macOS menu bar utility by Quarks. It helps keep the menu bar clean by hiding icons you do not need to see all the time.
Install Tucker
- Download Tucker from the button below or from the product card on the main page.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Move Tucker into Applications.
- Launch Tucker from Applications.
- If macOS blocks the first launch, open System Settings -> Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
QuarkSwitch setup
QuarkSwitch fixes text typed in the wrong keyboard layout. For example, ghbdtn can become привет.
Install QuarkSwitch
- Download QuarkSwitch from the button below or from the product card on the main page.
- Open the downloaded file.
- Move QuarkSwitch into Applications.
- Launch QuarkSwitch and keep it running while you type.
- Give macOS permissions only if the app asks for them during setup.
Usage notes
Using Tucker
- Open Tucker when you want a cleaner menu bar.
- Choose which menu bar icons should stay visible.
- Use it for focus, screen recording, or a cleaner desktop setup.
- Keep Tucker in Applications so macOS can launch it normally.
Using QuarkSwitch
- Keep QuarkSwitch open while typing in Russian and English.
- When text was typed in the wrong layout, use the app to convert it back.
- Check the result before sending important messages.
- Use it for chats, notes, browser fields, and everyday writing.
Tip: after installation, add an app to login items if you want it ready after every restart.
FAQ and troubleshooting
macOS says the app cannot be opened
Open System Settings -> Privacy & Security, then approve the app from the security message.
The app did not download
Try the download button again. If your browser blocks the file, allow downloads for this site.
The app does not start after moving it
Make sure the app is inside Applications, then launch it from Finder instead of from the downloaded file.
Something still feels broken
Send the app name, your macOS version, and what happened through the contact form.
